hey all my doubletail and new female are breeding but some time over nite his dorsal fin and top tail have started to stick together im worryed as he mite die eggs are coming out of the female shall i let them finish them take both out and start treating him?

If they are still mating, let them finished mating. You still cannot take the male out because you need the male to keep taking care of the nest until the babies hatching for few days. Or else if you have another male, you can use him to takecare of the eggs and nest. You have to let it go for the fins else don't mate the betta at all. That is why breeding is you might have to sacrifice something.

Crystal, many successfull spawns have been raised without having daddy in. If you think he's ill, I'd let them finish breeding, then pull both fish. Add a couple of drops of meth blue or maroxy, something to keep the fungus down on the eggs.
