I have just noticed this a couple of days ago, and today he seems to be really lazy, laying flat on his side, on the ground.
I thought he had died, but when i go near the tank he swims around like normal.

The lump is on one side and in his abdomen area, it isn't abstracting his swimming, nor are any of my fish showings similar signs or any illness.

He eats normally, perhaps he just bumped his side?

I will see if i can get a picture but hes not very tolerant of it

Sorry i cant measure my water levels, ran out of the stuff, and life has been hectic recently
My dog needs knee surgery, so all money has gone on him.
And my fish have been neglected because of this.

This is the best i can get, so you can actually see it

My blue baby changed colour D:

If you cant test your water then do a water change anyway, that way you know you will be reducing any high levels.

It may be some kind of tumor or absess but wont know unless we have a picture :(

sorry to hear about your dog

Will do that soon,
and i'm trying my best to get one, but he wont turn the right way for me.

Thanks, hes doing okay now.

Well i did the water change, and i am so glad i did
the water was an orangey yellow colour D:
So i changed like 60%
Did some cleaning around it too, as i had some nice algae growth XD

But i think it might be too late for him
He become less energetic, keeps sitting at the bottom and raising for air and food.

it could be either one of two things i know...

He could've got a bruise

or he has a tumor - but the only fish cancer I have seen actually protuded from the skin... and snuffles didnt make it...

Okays, well i will keep an eye on him, and if he seems to be just getting worse then i think i will safetly just say goodbye

only say goodbye if totally neccacary - otherwise its cruel

I know, i know.
I will only do so if i actually see that hes dying, like i had to with my gourami.
But at the moment, hes fighting for his life :D
