i finally made it so everyone whould have 1/2 gallon or more to themselfs. the bowl is 1.5g and the tankks on each end are 1/2 g (when i get a chance i will buy 1g each for them) and then the rest glass bowls are 1g.
i think it turned nice what about you guys?

thanx you gave me a great idea, i have been wanting to clean up the top of my dresser, and get some more bettas. I have a cool petstore on the southside that have rare bettas from thailand, they are beautiful. Some cost $20.00 but are worth it, once i get some and get a digital camera i will put some pics up.

:D yea hangin out here will definately get u addicted to the little guys, i like your dresser, i juts have 2 giant industrial shelves taht take up 50% of my room

i like how u have the containers decorated, but it looks like there isn't a whole lot of swimming space for the bettas, a bigger habitat would be great but i understand if thats not possible for you, they will be fine if u keep teh jars clean

yeah lol they spend most of their time sleeping in the caves or blowing bubbles lol. hopefully in the nest week i can replace the 1/2g tanks with a 1g glass bowl like the rest. :D belive me if i could they whould have 10g tanks to themselfs!

it works out really nie the only problem is the top shakes just a little when you open doors but ohh well.
i was going to get this corrner shelf but i said "ohh darn it dosent have enuff shelfs". lol its getting sad

I have a solution for the shaking problem when the drawers come open.
Rip the drawers out and make shelves inside the dresser for more bettas.

Problem solved.

orientmatt- what are you talking about they are all above 1g except the two end ones and the fish are still young.

bettamomma- great idea till my mom kills me for it lol.

:)

sorry if I sounded a bit patronising (I am new to this betta lark lol) but it just seems incredible that it is possible to keep fish in such tiny containers/tanks/aquariums/jam jars!(whatever you wanna call them)

i dont know if you read my toher post but a 2.5 gallon and tanks like that that are $30 or $40 are just out of my budget right now expecially for 6 fish :/

Think of it this way, orientmatt, have you seen what they live in at the lfs? Some fish go months on end, even a year in that kind of condition. Even something like a one gallon is heaven to a store bought betta. And they are well taken care of. Bettas have been accustomed for hundreds of years to live in much worse conditions than this.
