Another wonderful creature passed away. :byebye: Why do I have such bad luck with these animals, it happened after a water change in a well established tank
6.8 ph
78 f
0 ppm ammo and Nitrite
30 nitrate
Only thing I can think of is the water temp was cooler than the tank temp. the Cories are alive and kicking....what gives? :dunno:
I am going  cause I cant keep these buggers alive.
And i am not feeding them boogers either ;)

:dunno:

Was this the betta in the 5 with the 7 cories? I'd say it was overstocked but you said the ammonia was at zero  The water temp difference shouldn't have been that big of a deal, it wouldn't kill him.Hmmmm...

Too much death around here today :X

they are pygmie cories and 2.5 of them is probably equal to 1 regular cory in food consumtion and waste produced. they are about a half inch in length. I am puzzled the longest I had a betta live was 2 months. Back to studying these fellas :dunno:

It could be a bad batch your LFS is getting.
