My Bedside Hospital/quarantine Tank!

Ok so before today the tank looked like this..

It's a 15 x 8 x 8 and currently has a small angel being treated with melafix as his 'friends' took a dislike to him and decided to nip off his top fin don't worry, this isn't a permanent home anyway here is how it stands after todays little play session I'm quite pleased with it, just need to get it planted now, thinking dwarf hair grass and maybe some small vallis or similar for the background...any ideas?

Let me know what you think and any suggestions for changes

It is beautiful i would suggest some java moss in there and maybe a lid if some of the fish you have enjoy jumping a little to much . Do you have a filter in it btw because i couldn't find it (maybe im just dumb).

if you dont have a filter, which i believe you do not, you most definetly will need to add one asap.

even if its just a cheap one from a department store.

and the water quality will be better..
dont forget to test for chemicals as well..

the better the fish quality the faster your fish will recover

you could easily grow a carpet of HC or glosso under there and with the hair grass at the back it would look like a mini iwagumi

My first thoughts too, so lets not jump to the conclusion it's not filtered.

Tank looks damn good to me. Looks Opti-white

Before today this is how the tank looked.....Theres a nice large black sponge filter in left of picture

Spot on So yes, most of you did jump to the wrong conclusion...better to be safe than sorry I guess lol! It's filtered and heated Not the same filter as was in the before pic, but has a (mature) algarde bio foam filter!

The light unit is a super fish 11w light designed for their aquacubes, picked it up off ebay brand new for about a tenner! I like your idea of the glosso at the front and hair grass at the back Need to get another diffuser so no plants for a week or so yet I don't think

hah didnt mean to tell you off, just hinting that IF you didnt have one, you should get one..but since you have an advanced filter (?) sall good.

Lol thats fine recovery is pretty good, every day I notice more finnage coming back to him Don't know if I can face putting him back in with his attackers though I'd hate for the same to happen again!
