My barbs are dying

My aquarium problem I had 3 pairs of barbs and 2 pairs of tiger barbs but recently I lost 3 females which seemed to be carrying eggs for no apparent reason. I think they died as they were unable to lay egg. could someone help me by informing me how to ensure that they may lay eggs. I am not sure of water specs as the required eqpment is n ot a avlbl in India the temp is 29-30 degrees celcius ie 80-84 F.The males are fine so the problem seems to be something else.I feed them Liver feed and standard fish feed globules. The tank size is about 10 gallons I have removed the barbs along with males to anotyher tank of about 8 gallons 6 fishes totally the y were fine for a week and then died one a day. the tank I moved to is well planted and has sand subsrtate

Do a water change and get the water tested in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph, your temp is high i would turn it down to 78, and the bards really need a bigger tank.
