I've had many thousands of fish during the past 4 decades, but one particular fish stands out as my all time favourite...... (no ... it is not a Choc Gouramie).....
The very first (biggish) tank that I bought (in 1970) had 2 big Oscars, Deacons, a large spiney eel, Green Acara, some Mbuna and a RED BREASTED SUNFISH ......
I have not seen any since then nor have I heard of anyone keeping them.... They are perfect big fish aquarium fish and absolutely bonds with their owner..... I would really like to get another if they are still in the aquarium circuit.... has anybody ever kept them???.... I'd like to see some pics.
