Thats an Aequidens metae in the top left corner, an acara.
He's a scardy cat that hides almost ALL the time.
I actually didnt even notice him when I was taking the pic, it wasnt until I posted it that I seen him there.

The tank is 48WX18DX24H.
I have pelvicachromis pulchers, nanochromis nudiceps, angels, acara, egyptian mouthbrooders(Pseudocrenilabrus multicolor), several cory cat species, clown pleco's, bristlenose plecs, snowball plec, vampire plec, signal plec and a candy plec, several otto's and a pair of siamese algae eaters and a lonely single florida flagfish.
oh, and a few guppies that never ended up being eaten when they were fry.
I'm in the middle of setting up another tank that will hold several of the fish noted above.

I woke up this morning to a sad sight however.
One of my female nanochromis had died.

Yes, yes they are......hopefully the fellow I bought them from locally has a few females left.
I've had them for a couple months now with no signs of breeding behavior yet, mind you there a lot of places to do the dirty deed I may not of even seen it happening.
