So I have finally completed my bettas 5gal setup. Adding the final touches today.
Really happy with how it looks, plenty of hiding places and plenty of plants that should hopefully grow quite nicely.
inhabients : just the single koi Betta for now. Was Tempted to add some RCS, but the betta was moved because of hunting my rcs in my main tank so perhaps a nerite snail will do.
Tank: Aqua one 30cm cube 22l tank with aquaone led lighting and heater.
Tropica soil substrate at the back and sand/pebbles at the front
Plants: include a variety of anubias, Ludwigia and swords and some floating duckweed.
and the emergent plant is a simple peace lilly.
First time growing emergent plants so I’m hopeful it does well.
