There are quite a few guppies and swordtails with some platys. The guppies and swordtails had fry that were hiding in the Elodea, I couldn't trim it so it grew and almost covered the top of the tank. The black hair algae started in the top closest to the light and the problems began. I gave some of the swordtails to a friend today and put some in other tanks. I'll be going to my lfs this week to trade some for store credit. They multiply so fast it can be hard to keep up with them, I think there are another 20 or 30 fry hiding in the java moss and stones.
The tank also has about 10 dalmation mollies that are about 6 months old, 6 glowlight tetras and 5 corydoras lucomelas. The corys stay in the cave or java moss most of the day, but sometimes they rest under the large sword on the right side. I put two algae wafers in the tank about 5 minutes before taking the picture, that is why they are grouped so tightly.
BTW the tank is low llght, there is a two tube T5, 28 watts per lamp and one DIY 10 watt compact fluorescent that is over the large sword plant. I use DIY CO2 but don't get above 20 ppm CO2. I also dose with liquid ferts every other day. Definately a low tech tank.
