Well i finally got my 10 kilos LR off a guy after a sssllloooowww delivery. Here are some pics of the tank. Hope you like and get some ideas if they are needed  .

Excuse the brown diatoms im fighting them now after cyano. But whats worse i cant add snails in until my nitrates are below 20mg :grr: Hence the the D&D Denitrate filter :D.
Still havent added any new corals are im going into LPS now thanks to light so i want good conditions before that.

Readings are:
Salanity: 1.025ppm
Ammonia: 0 mg
Nitrite: 0 mg
Nitrate: 25mg (supposedly)
PH: 8.1

Be warned i took quite a few 8)

Have you re-cured this rock - seems very quick to add to your main tank

Thanks you guys. Yer true but i have 3 reasons for this.
1. most life still was in true health eg FORAMINIFERANS.
2. People who kill mantis's in their mature tank fresh water dip on them killing everything then putting it back in...
3. My tank if matured for over 8 months prehaps more thats including, filter,LR and skimmer.

I wanna get another clarkii as i love them but think it would be safe to put another one in after 1 clown has been in there for yonks?
And no not as such yet :p but it helps lots on the temp.

Right changed it round a bit more and added my final 5 kilos! Also got 2 new seio m820s omg they blow every thing away  .

Tank paremeters are again.

1.024
ammonia 0
nitrite not sure ran out of test kits lmao
nitrate <10mgs
ph 8.1

Also added a 6 line wrasse but hes very quiet and wont come out of he gets chaced by the others :( give him time.

Well its been a while, the cyano has died once again and it is clear! seeing a little green kinda algea on one rock just like skifletch is having probs with so but worried there.
After i get my car im gunna get my 1st LPS corals, i was thinking along the lines of:
Open brain dunno wot colour
frogspawn
bubble coral
candy coral
moonstone
prehaps anchor coral but they are like more aggressive aint they?
Then for other types
striped mushrooms
Zoos assorted colours and dunno really any other ideas?
Oh and a clam i was thinking?
They would be ok if they grew next to each other wldnt they i mean they may sting one another but shld be that be a huge worry?

Anyways thought id put out a video instead! show the tanks cleanlyness lol and also get a good shot of the fish :D cos they go blurry usually.

PS my fav and 1st coral ever is the far left my Toadstool its grown so well

Edit:Youtube stinks for quality in pixels, ill upload it on photoshop much better on there btu take a little longer :D

Edit: ok its a bit better now i think, enjoy :) ull get the jist

Looks great :good: especially now that the hair algae's gone.

As far as coral aggression goes, its safe to assume that any tentacled LPS is an aggressive species. Any soft polyp or toadstoll is usually a weak species. And SPS or encrusting LPS are generally the weakest. Corals of similar aggression strengths can touch while those of differing aggressions will kill the weaker neighbors. Case in point, my hammer coral and my frogspawn coral have digested any and all mushroom polyps that reproduce and end up next to them. Yet my mushroom almoast killed my entire open brain colony (encrusting LPS). Meanwhile just hair algae managed to nearly kill one of my SPS frags.

I've got quite the mix of corals in my tank which is somewhat difficult to keep aggression in check, but I manage :)

Right ive been meaning to ask this but never got round to takin pics etc. On a peice of LR i got i found this small coral i dunno wot it is... Zoos?

Ill have 2 more piccers of my Moon brain coral i bought but im giving it time to settle in same with my serpant starfish.

Hey well only a few new things however i wanted to show u them, and mainly just how good corals grow under decent lighting, im dreading the day i have to frag em.
I finally got a small cleaner group a minstral separt starfish few weeks back, 6 ceriths and 6 naussaurius and i also had to buy a coral to up it up to amount so it could be sent. So i got their last geen branching frog spawn. Its fairly good frag for 16 quid but im worried its got a fuzzy patch in the collony.

Any who, here are the latest pics. Im getting some diatoms again so hence my new snails to clean it.
