My 48 Ltr Aquarium Looking Good With Its New Look!

The baby tetra is 100% neon tetra. Not a cardinal.

Also, going by the photo taken dates in your exif info, you changed to sand 1 day after the gravel. I am assuming you have not cycled the tank yet?
If not, get yr fish graves ready, you will probably need many . . .

Hiya,

well iv had my tank for 2 years now and my tank has been cycled yes, but with fish in

i had the gravel in for 2 years, and now changed to sand. i took the pictures one day after the other to show you lot before and after pics of of my tank.

is that what you mean?

i dont need to cycle the sand do i? i was advised to bathe the bogwood in water for 2 weeks, however on the label of the bogwood it said you could put the bogwood in after bathing for 30mins and all it would do is turn the water a tea colour (which it has, just a tad) and it would help with algea.

thanks x

Hiya, :)

thanks for all the great replies :good:

my sisters aqaurium is a bit boring atm and was thinking of making it look good, for nothing? atm it has mixed colourd sand in, a big rock, then a little rock infront of it and then a big green plant and a little yellow coral type thing????

any ideas how i can make it look amzing out of:

. mixed coloured gravel (some more)
. a red corral rock (small)
. a blue little rock
. a purple coral rock (small)
. a bigish rock
. a bit of a smaller rock
. then one plant, maybe i could fit another small plant in? i have one in my tank that i dont really need???

any ideas? i guess i could get her 1 little bridge or something from pets @ home or a cheep pet shop lol

thans x

ps dont want it to look to natural, as she is only young so may want it to look bit childish lol

ill try and get some pics of the rocks she has
