My 2 Oaps

2 of my oldest fish, one I have had ages and one about 15 months both look a bit under the weather....trouble is they are in a divided tank...no visible signs at all, no spots, flicking, just both a bit lethargic, fed them today and they ate a bit not much. Anyway just cleaned them totally out but dont know whether to put a spot of aqua salt in?

well if they look a bit bigger they could have a bacterial infection.

May just be old age, my boy ollie passed away a few months ago he was 3 1/2 years old, he started getting lethargic, eating less, laying on his flower more and more, then one day I woke up and he was swimming head up completely vertical and I knew it was time...

could it be dropsey? if not might be an infection.Hope he gets better.

it wouldnt be old age if they both are doing it try adding some anti bacterial and aquarium salt. see if that helps.

going to sort them out now...

the little devils cleaned them out last night...very late.....realised someone had switched their heater off bit of salt in the water and they are raring to go today....
