So this week i decided to give my boys alot more swimming room and so i got two 10 gallon tanks and divided them. The pictures are below tell me what you think. I'm thinking when i do the first water change i'm going to add more decorations. Also theres pictures of our curious rabbit who loves to watch her bubby's.

Heres my question, I have a filter on the tanks, but cuz of the divider it really only gets one side well, the other side is starting to accumulate some protein on top, anything i can do?

Hi

Dont know what type of filter you have, but if you leave it where it is with the intake in one section, but attach some tubing to the outlet and have it pump the water into the other section, it should work. If there is holes in the divider the outlet pumping water into one section and the pump inlet taking from the other will cause a natural flow between the sections, rather than displace the levels of water. I have my filter pump in section 1, and a tube from the outlet going through a hole in the divider into section 2. So it takes water in from section 1 and pumps it down to section 2. This causes a flow from section 2 through the divider back into section 1 and back into the pump again. Voila.
Hope that makes sense
