Hi!

I like your decor. I just did a similar change on my tank with a sunken city look! How long have you had stock in the tank? I like the red fire gourami, too.

thanks for the nice comments! your tank looks really cool too. i have had stock in it for about 2 weeks now.

I was wondering should i change to sand? i cant decide if it would look better

I have not been brave enough to delve into the sand arena yet. I don't want to deal with learning how to clean it. I prefer being able to really dig my siphon into the gravel and vacuum it thoroughly. With sand I believe you have to be more gentle, and if sand does get stirred up, you have to make sure it does not get into the filter. Plus it needs to be very thoroughly rinsed before adding it to the tank.
