My 1st Betta.

Vert pretty! If you have a macro setting on you camera you could use it, what camera do you have?
 
Wow, the color really popped. Pretty good. I agree with KJ, use the marco/flower setting on your camera. Also set it to the highest resolution, if not already. Keep trying, you will get better.
 
I am slowly getting better with piccies, mine has a stand by which means you press button gently until stand by comes up and then wait and then take it...no one told me that until a week or so ago! :blush: :blush: and as someone said tilt the camera a bit you dont get a reflection of the flash then. :shout:

I find that lots of light helps. I usually put my bettas into a beanie container then put a desk lamp over the top to get a good pic, but even then I need to take a couple to get one I'm happy with :rolleyes:
