Hello,
I wanted to share with everyone my new betta {Butterfly} He is my 1st betta in 5 yrs. I got him from Aquabid from a wonderful Lady named Roxanne aka mom243 She called him Flip But I am calling him Butterfly, Don't really know why other then I love Butterflies and I thought it was a good name.

I have Butterfly Betta in a 5 gallon mini bow, Still got some decorations to add like more gems maybe 1 more silk plant. I have a real one in there as well, I can't remember the name.

Any ideas of how I can make it better for him??

Let me know what you think.

Ok I need help adding the pictures they I guess are too large, How do I fix that so I can add them. Help please

Thanks,
Amy

5 gallons is pretty big for a betta, lots of room there.
i would suggest about 3 or 4 silk plants, they like them tall, maybe a cave ive done a plant pot cut in half, maybe some bogwood others dont use it but i do its really good and i have floating elodea which my betta loves to rest on.
hope this helped a little

dose it have a fillter and heater??
and 5g is perfect but a few more silk plants and a floating plant he can make bubble nests in would help

Ok I think I figured out how to add the pictures. It dose have a filter but no heater yet. was not sure if i was going to get 1 as here in teaxs it is so hot outside that it is even a little warm inside even with the ac on. And I do got a cave for him and I will be adding more silk plants as well.

Here is my Betta Butterfly in his 5 gallon mini bow tank

Very nice the pictures a bit small but from what i can see its lovely.
How many litres or gallons?
Beautiful Fish!!!:D

I thought the pics were kinds small myself, But oh well live and learn right. LOL It is a 5 gallon mini bow. I got more things to add it will be a slow process but it will be great for him in a few weeks time.

Any idea what size i should have done the pictures in so they were not so small but not so big they cant be added?

Thanks,
Amy

how much of a temp drop is there at night and whats the temp in the day. if theres more than a 4c drop in temp then you need a heater so it dosent get stressed out and the tank temp should be about 26-28c

Yep, when you go on imageshack and pick the image size i pick the 'websites and emails' size.
