My 140Ltr Marine Setup

Hi, i would like to start my journal by saying thanx to all who have given advice and helped sway my mind into doing this, it will be a long process as i want to do everything right and funds are limited and im also waiting for my gourami setup to sell to help with funding this project. I will be going for a FOWLR tank to start with then if i decide later i want to keep coral i will upgrade my tank and lighting etc.

Tank: 84L x 36W x 47H cm (140 ltr)

Sump: none as yet but if i win the item on ebay i will have a sump 77L x 32W x 48H cm (118 ltr)

Return pump for sump: none as yet but i will buy http/cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310233416978&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Substrate: none as yet but will be 2" of black sand

Filtration: to start a fluval u4 but will be gradually adding LR untill i have about 15-20kg

I;m not sure what your fund situation is like but have you thought of a river reef 94 or something similar off ebay. Often get them with all equipment etc for £150
