Time for an update!

Here are some pics of my tank, and the baby cardinals!
Along with some full tank shots as requested.

First the babies, got 20 altogether and they are about 2 weeks old.

Love it!!! Congrats on breeding the cardinals!! Curiosity, do you plan to keep or sell them?

Dig the cardinal breeding.
Were they hard to rear, any problems, did you loose many or was it a virtually full batch. (haw many did you sucessfully rear)

The cardinals are not that difficult to rear. Just the continuous hatching of baby brine shrimp to feed them.
I havent lost any yet but its still early days.
There are 20 alive at the minute, and there were 20 when the male spat them out.

Good job on the breeding. Cards have higherr survival rates of the fry since they start so big. Much easier to feed something like baby brine than it is to feed phyto/rots to something like clownfish fry. And its a good thing you're raising them too, cause they're becoming rare/endangered in the wild

Thanks for the comment SkiFletch. One of the main reasons I decided to try and raise them was because I had heard of their declining numbers in the wild.

Finally got the 5 yellow tangs for my birthday!

They are currently in quaratine.

I thought tangs are territorial. Or will these be ok?

Yes they are territoral but if you keep them in numbers of 5 or more and feed them well then they can work well with each other.

how big is that tank?

Are the tangs juveniles?

The tangs are juveniles and quite small.
They are in a 15gallon quaratine tank and when they have been in there they are going into my 100gallon reef.
