It looks pretty bare. I would suggest to get a bushy tall plant or several tall ones. Your fish look great though and i see some shrimp on the right side. What type of shrimp are they?

It looks like a great start, I would agree and go for a little more filler to make it feel more complete.

At the same time if those are all live plants (which I believe they are) in due time I think it will be awesome without changes.

thank you guys! yea i agree 100% i have two aponogetus plants in the middle but due to lack of nutrition they melted, same with the anubius. but i am now adding ferts and root tabs so they are growing again! and they are ghost shrimp believe it or not, they got quit big in my tank, one being almost 2 inches

just to let you know plants will melt when you put them into the tank no matter what, because mosts plants are originally grown out of the water, also moving plants from one tank to another will cause them to melt, so annoying when they melt :p

i am still w8ing for some of mine to recover after melting,

but with the tank very good with what you have got, i agree with the above more plants :D, and in my opinion i don't like gravel so i would go with some sand :)

im setting up my 55 gallon as well and im using sand in that tank! the 10 gallon is my first tank but i have had for a year! any particulare plant ideas? like stem plants such as pennywort or a leafy plant or two?

Float the pennywort, add a medium sized anubias and some umbrella plants. Just go to your lfs and look at what would look good. Thats how i planted my tank i just looked for the healthiest one i liked.
