Mw Drying Up?

Hi,I think my microworms are drying up/dieing because they only come up every so often.I feed them a pinch of flake everyday and 3 pinchs of oats every 2 days,What am i doing wrong? I keep them on top of my 2ft were it is nice a warm.Do they need a light?

its probably too warm i moved mine as they kept drying up. theyve dried again now, so they need re seeding. It happens time to time, make up a new batch of oats and add a couple of spoon fuls of the old mixture, they will start up again. Also I only add oats every week, too many oats will dry it out

how much oats anf flake a week do you put in yours?

I dont add any flake, i add just enough oats to soak into the wet patches

oo ok then thanks.Mine looks realy dark brown and dry is there anythign i can add to it to make it damp again.

Just do what I suggested make up a new load of oats and add a tablespoon of the old stuff

just oats and add the mw nothing else? I need it back again asap ive got a pair in the spawning tank.

Add a bit of water to the oats until they are sloppy but not watery then add 1 or 2 table spoons of the old stuff and keep them in a warm but not very hot place.
