I need some help deciding where to put my fish
I have a rather crowded 29 gallon tank. I purchased and am currently cycling a 10 gallon tank (I only have room for a 10 gallon unfortunately - my room is running out of space and I'm not allowed to expand my critters to other parts of the house at the moment). Here are the fish I have:
1 opaline gourami
1 red tailed shark
2 mollies (same sized pair)
2 platties (one huge adult female, and one baby female)
6 glo lite tetras
1 ornate bichir (he's a baby - maybe 4 inches long)
My opaline is getting harassed by my redtailed so I would like to seperate them, if at all possible. I learned that red tails should not be kept with bichirs, so I'm figuring I should move the red tailed to the 10 gallon. Then should I move the livebearers to the 10 as well? I wonder if the close quarters would inspire the red tailed to violence against them?
Let me know what you think - who should I keep in the 29 and who should I move to the 10 gallon?
