A while ago,I decided to get rid of all of my fish, so that I could refurbish my 30+ year old fish tanks and start from scratch with different types of fish.....
I advertised on an SA fish forum that all the fish are for sale on condition that the buyer clears out the tanks and does not leave me with one single fish......
I ultimately got a buyer who drove (700km return trip with his own containers) down to my house and cleared out all of the (at least 15,000 fish)....
Some weeks after he left..... I noticed movement in the tanks and it turned out that 2 small Convict fry remained, as well as one female Guppy..... & guess what..... the 2 Convict fry just turned out to be one male and one female....... They are now the proud parents of a litter of (about 80) healthy fry.... and the Guppies!!!!..... I had a male left which I chucked in with the remaining fry (female) and they now have about 100 fry.....
So much for starting from scratch with different types of fish!!!!
