Murky Film Appearing...

Before my water change i had noticed a white murky film had appeared on the surface of my water. So i did a 25litre water change and now after 3 days it seems to be appearing again?? I wondered if it was to do with the flow of the water? It flows fairly fast across the surface of the water towards the front of the tank. I have an internal juwel filter. The murkiness of the film seems to reduce the flow of water and it is motionless up the far side of the tank... Has anyone any ideas what this film is and how to get rid? Before siphoning the water to do my change i used a cup and scooped out the film.... its a bit hard to descibe exactly what its like.... any ideas would be appreciated.

i sometimes get this film in my tank, in places of slow or no flowing water it seems to develop as i have my filter on a very low flow setting. this film can appear when you put your hands in the tank too, from the natural oils in your skin that come off and float on the water surface, but dont be alarmed this white film thing isnt really anything to worry about, it does no damage

nothing to worry about - happens in most tanks. Disturbing the water surface with the filter will clear it, or place a piece of kitchen paper towel on the surface then and remove.
