MTS and Pet Smart

I tried to get Pet Smart to give me some of the MTS, they said they could not. I tried to buy them, not for free, but pay for them...they said they "'coouldn't sell them because they are pests and we hate them. That is why we have a goldfish in every tank, they are supposed to eat them, but they don't eat them"

hmmmm Okay...so they put a goldfish in with the tropical fish in order for them to eat the MTS, which they consider pests, which they will neither sell to you or give away to you, even though you want them and they don't.....

Does any of that make any sense?

edited to add -- they were in the tanks by the thousands it appeared... Oh, and also, I tried to find a nerite snail and they told me that they " had to keep them in the back because they don't live in the tanks out here, they die" .....

Smh. What a terribly run LFS! Good call on the 'PASS'. Some ppl make me so angry.

My petsmart has mixed and horned nerites for sell in a couple of tanks. I've bought them and they've been fine for me. Just lost one of my oldest horned recently. Poor sweet Ramsey was a good snail. She is missed! (Close to 2 years old as well!)

As for the mts, never seen any in my petsmart but I see plenty of the pond snails.
