Hey all,
I bought a house this month, so my current stocking is all up and moving/upgrading shortly. Each of the main rooms in my house is going to have a different "theme," with at least one bigger tank and/or several smaller ones. I'd like to hear people's thoughts about tank ideas for each one. Suggest sizes within limits though - my rooms aren't the biggest in the world.
Living room: The "ocean room" - will contain my salt-water tank - which will be upgraded to a red-sea max when I get the chance. Not much else going on in here - I have plenty of ideas anyway.
Dining room: The "Asian" room: This is is a theme the girlfriend wants. I'm kinda scratching my head because I want to do something different here. I'm thinking either a cold-water tank with an Asian Newt/coldwater barbs/weather loaches, or else a coldwater hillstream community.
Front Bedroom: Only going to be little tanks in here. The room is the "desert room" so I'm scratching my head. Annual Killies? Goodeids? Desert Gobies?
Rear Bedroom: This will have my current 40-gallon community upgraded to 55-gallons (see my sig) - except when I tear down the tank I'm removing the dwarf Chain loaches (they harass the shrimp and eat their young). So they'll be more room for more small fish in here.
Wide open to ideas.
