Moving Tanks - advice sought

the move went well - saved about 15 gallons of water and managed to have it re-set up within an hour. after a bit of a worrying short spell on the bottom the oscar seems fine! also got an as-yet unidentified plec of about 4" in length - has a very tall dorsal fin and quite a slender but tall finned tail, a lot slimmer than my bristlenoses, is a dark colouration with large-ish dark spots all over - will get a pic soon as i can for ID'ing.

The oscars a bugger to feed though - totally disregards cichlid pellets but wolfs down flake or sinking pellets!!! Think i will seek advice in the cichlid forum!!

Possibly a Common Plec ?!?

With the Oscar, feed him the Cichlid pellets, he'll eat them eventually when he gets hungry enough !!! ;) ;)

could be, was wondering if hes a sailfin? will try getting some pics. hes a couple of years old apparently but is max 5". Hes not been fed algae wafers or extra greens, and no plants in tank, only algal growth in tank to eat, poor fella!
