Moving Tank

So I decided the floor of my apartment is not all even. So I need to move my tank across the room. Whats the best way to do this?

29 gallon... and theres 3 swordtails in it

I'd say just take the fish out, and put them in a bucket of their tank water, then empty the tank. Then, that gives you a bit of time to move the tank and any stands or external filters. Once it's done, fill it back up with new water, then you can probably just gently pour the fish back in with the old tank water, too.

What if I put half the tank water into a bucket, (i have a 15 gallon tub) with the fish, and drain the rest, then move it? is that enough water for the fish to be okay?

As above, except acclimitise the fish to the new tank water, either by the drip or small volume of water every 5-10 minutes method.

So I moved the tank. Is it bad if the water level is 2 millimeters higher at one end than the other? it was 8 when it was on the other side of the room, and i did lift one end a little in the new home to shift it from 4 to 2

2mm isnt anything to worry about, when you get to 5-10+ it is, but that also depends on the size of the tank, yours should* be fine
