We are having to move the tank due to decorating. well one fish escaped in transit. I found him on the floor when I was hoovering.

It was a nightmare and in the end i left as much water and the fish i could not catch.
I was thinking would it be okay to move them back when the time comes with them in the tank.

It is so sad totake them out.

As I say one muxt have jumped the bucket when going back in.

poor mite.

I am dreading this.
I will not be decorating for a while as it is so traumatic.

Depending on the size of the tank, you can safely move the tank with the stand together with no problems. Just remove about 1/2 of the water in the tank. Just do not move the tank by itself, seperate from the stand.

Thanks its a 400 Rio jewel so we could only manage to move it with about a quarter of the water left in. e removed the stones also.
