So my pair of festivum have spawned again, this time I want to try to rescue the fry from my tetras. I have a 20 gal. Setup and waiting for them but I was wondering what the best way to move them would be?
Right now the eggs are on the underside of a piece of driftwood, could I just move the piece of wood eggs and all? Would exposing them to air kill them? Or should I wait until they hatch to move them?
Also, I know I will move the mother with them, but should I move the father too? He seems to share parenting duties well, fanning the eggs and he always guards the nest and allows the female to eat first at feeding time. I was just worried the smaller space may aggitate him as we've had aggression issues with him before.
Thanks for any advice in advance!
