Moved My Fish

i moved my pregnant mollie casper to a tank of her own using filter media out my other tank. i moved her so i could try stop fry bein eaten. after workin out dates of when i got her which was 4 weeks yest and the fish shop having a batch of fry of about a week old i think i am rite in workin out she is about a week from giving birth again is this correct?

gettin fat and slightly square on the bottom not huge as yet but deffo alot fatter then when i got her. she is a silver mollie

If you have a good sized birth tank, she can be left until you see the fry Jen. I just did that myself about 3 weeks ago and have some fry about 12 days old to show for it. Since there was something about the community tank that just didn't seem right to me, momma got to hang out with the fry while I monitored the community tank to see if I could figure things out. Thank goodness that it was a molly and not some other common livebearer, because my 30ish fry are growing up fine with her in the tank and she almost ignores them.
