Hi, so last night I noticed my fish has what seems to be pretty bad damaged to his mouth. I’m not really sure if it’s diseased or maybe someone bit his mouth, but I don’t think anyone would have done that. Does anyone have any tips on what to do with him? I moved him to a hospital tank but not sure if I should put any medicine in or what type of medicine to even use. He hasn’t eaten yet today so I am a little nervous. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Sorry these pics kindof suck but I hope yall can still tell.

That looks bad  @Colin_T would have a much better idea than me. The thing I would do first is regular dechlorinated water changes. It may help to reduce amounts of anything "bad" that could worsen or affect the other fish in the original tank. Hope you can find a solution for the affected fish :)

Post a picture showing the entire tank so we can see if there's anything it might have been caught by.

How long have you had the fish for?
When did you first notice the mouth damage?
Over what time frame did the mouth go like that?

How long has the tank been set up for?
What other fishes are in the aquarium?
Have you added anything to the tank in the 2 weeks before this started?

What is the ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH of the water (in numbers)?
What sort of filter is on the aquarium?
How often and how do you clean the filter?

How often do you do water changes and how much do you change?
Do you gravel clean the substrate when you do a water change?
Do you dechlorinate the new water before adding it to the aquarium?
