I want to create a tank filled with moss i think, can anyone reccomend me some mosses that can grow with my lighting?

I have a 10g tank with 2 11watt clamping lamps.

Not using any ferts or CO2 and the substrate is sand.

If it helps i could buy some ferts though.

Thank you.

riccia needs quiet high light, so, cross that off the list. its a livewort I believe.

Indeed!

If riccia is submerged then it's a little demanding. However if it's left to float then it's darn easy.

Would mosses be ok grown with just sand substrate? I have a little java tied to the driftwood in my tank but it arrived in bad condition so it's just starting to come back ok.

I like the idea of moss walls and carpets...would these be hard to keep alive with my currentr setup?

Yes, mosses don't need anything too special.
Try and find the aquamoss website, they specialise in mosses and are a gold mine of info.

Will mosses grow in a gravel substrate without any ferts or CO2?

Cheers

Matty P

yes but like all plants will do better with higher light, co2 and ferts.
