mosquito fish are an invsive species in the united states, im not sure of the laws of fish collecting in Oregon so check your states wildlife department. If you have a cycled tank that is over 5 gallons thats cycled and heated(not a neccisity) then you could do a certain number per your actual tank size.

Depends on which species of gambusia. I heard the eastern gambusia, gambusia holbrooki are native there

Why do mosquito fish look so much like guppies?

How are they related if mosquito fish are Gambusia affinis and guppies are Poecilia reticulata? Are mosquito fish live bearers ?
