Right, ive a bit of bad news.

A while ago i posted a topic asking for identification for this fish

Im now upgrading my tank, and selling the old one, at the same time making it a community tank, not a species. So, that means i get my old guppies, kribensis and flying fox back from my uncles, but also means i have to sell my Morgunda

Its a Northern Trout Gudgeon, very pretty fish, about 3 inches long. It will eat anything - live food, jelly foods or flakes
(preferably small, not picky where in the tank ie surface, center or floor)
It is a swimming stomach, and when fully grown will munch on smaller fish.

Not many ppl ive asked either on this forum or in my many lfs knew what this was (thanks starrynight.....) so im thinking that this is rare in the aquarium world?

I live in England, just south of Stoke On Trent. For a small extra fee i will deliver to UK.

Anyone who is interested just reply with location, contact details, and bid plz.

K

P.S. nothing wrong with the fish, just have to sell it to get the others back  and yes i have tried every trick in the book to keep him, but im only allowed 1 tank.

Not really rare just not something that gets sold much so few shops stock them, its not predatory or big enough to interest the monster keepers but eats small fish so puts off the majority of other fish keepers. They tend to sell for under a tenner when they are available so dont expect too much from selling it, i was supplying shops in this area with them a few years back and was getting a lousy 80p a fish for my grown on fry.

it'll be fine in most medium-sized communities. I believe the adult size on these guys is 4-6 inches, with the females being bigger, so 2.5-3" fish should be the smallest it's kept with.
