ah yes. so hm about a month and 1/2 ago i had 2 africans holding. a yellow lab and a red zebra. yellow lab swallowed her eggs 2 1/2 weeks in. and the zebra was succesful in gving birth. now i have another zebra holding. been holding for about 3 days. so the last time i removed both fish from their tank into a seperate tank. im not gonna remove the mom this time. theres enough hiding places for the babies. im not to worried. well i realy just have no more room for fry. but ok. so can i get a congratulations or what here?

i'll post a pic of the newly remolded tank soon. :hyper:

they are both Maylandia Estherae they come in various shades of orange i to have some peach coloured ones .Your babies look like they are comeing along nicely :D

oh ok. awesome
thanks for the info!

yea the babies are acually come'n along quite nicely. i feed them dreid brine shrimp, freshly hatched brine shrimp, and powderd cichlid flakes.

lots more then whats photod. there is around 23 or 24 babies.

wow nice tank but i dont envy you catching fish out of there :S do you have to take all the rocks out ?

yup!

all rocks come out. usually go ahead and vaccum also while everything is out.

its os much work. everyone in this house hold know how i dread to remove every single roack and start all over. i love that tank though. out of 9 tanks it is my favorite. no questions asks. i love cichlids. a 55g thats in my room is geting converted to a 55g cichlid tank. probably another african. not much of a selection of cichlids from where i am. well the cichlids i like atleast.

would really like a few cobalt blue cichlids. only seen like 2 around here.

yea so do i, im acually thinking about adding 2 or 3 more caves and then reducing the rock pikle to like 60% of the tank.

what do u think?
