It makes you realise that ADA isn't just a hobby (ok its a business, but one that grow from a hobby) its a whole ethos, a way of thinking, must obviously comes from Zen and things like that, but the fact that even the show room reflects the creative thinking behind the aquascapes, says a lot about the people who invented it.

Aquariums within aquariums...least that looks like what they've tried to do! (As in build a house that resembles an aquarium, then fill it with aquariums!).

Im surprised you haven't seen these pictures yet sam. If you get your self a copy of the ADA catalog from A-essentials for a few quid postage theres loads of them or alternatively buy some of the AquaJournals ( vol96) . I have the Ajournal that shows pictures of the gallery tanks being installed, the grounds the gallery is in and the famous Amano monster tank...................

I love the whole feel of ADAs style and performance.
I love Japan...One of my must visit countries.
I love Zen philosophy, Zen gardens, Bonsai,Japanese spars, Japanese art, just love it.
You see, you look at the ADA gallery and how professional it is, as you say a whole concept. And look how aquascaping is in this country, we are only just peeping out of our caves compared to the Japanese and far east.

Graeme.

I have tried getting the new 2006 catalogue, emailed ADA japan, but was told to email ADA Europe, which I did and no response as yet. Any tips on who to contact?

Wow took the words out of my mouth. Everything ADA does is just aesthetically perfect - and its not all glitz and glamour, the products perform. Since when were product catalogues supposed to bought just for the photos? :) ADA certainly remind everyone else of what a hell of a lot of catching up everyone else has to do.

Moody had the answer.... Have you tried contacting Aquaessentials ?

I e-mailed ADA Japan direct with success. Not sure why they've directed you to ADA Euro, as you pay for postage anyway.

I know AE are still awaiting 2006 catalogues from ADA Euro.

I would try ADA Japan again and explain that ADA Euro are not responding.

Sorry I can't help anymore than that. :/

Cheers George, will give them another try or will just wait for AE to get them. Guess being new (?) ADA Euro might be a bit all over the place at the mo.

Thanks again :)

Sam

Cheers Squid :)

ADA Europe don't have any 06 catalogues atm, and I won't have any til end of January 07. ADA Japan are 'selective' as to whether they respond to emails or not, not sure why...

It's worth pursuing though; quite an amazing catalogue/book

Oh right, thanks Richard, have emailed ADA Japan again, lets hope they select me! Seems crazy not to send it out, surely that's what catalogues are for!!!
