Okay so after my tank is finished growing out (When I get more plants :X ) these are the fish I will choose out of for my 55 Gallon long tank. Its going to be a heavly planted community tank, anyways here is the fish i'm thinking about:

EDIT: Okay so here is the twice redone tank list. Is it still good or does it need to be changed anymore?
6 Marble hatchets.
8 Neon tetras (Or Cardnals)
4 Turqouise (May change my mind) Rainbowfish
6 Black-skirt tetras (Or black phantom tetras)
2 Apple snails
3 Golden dojo loaches
1 Yellow Pleco
2 German rams (?)

Also if I can't get the rams would I be able to get rasbora's other than harlequins , like scissor-tails, and how many would I be able to get?

Okay is this a good list, or is it over stocked, anything more I could put in? Or is there to many top bottom or middle fish.

If you want a mod can move this to beginners, because i'm sorta new to fish keeping (haven't done it for a while) and i'm asking because I want to have a good working community tank.

Id add less fish than that as your tanks still new. And the list has too many fish to accomidate their adult sizes.

The tank isn't that new, its been up and running since June 20, 2004

Also, I said this was a list of fish that I would like, not a definate list. I'll have to go see the adult lengths for each fish.

Currently in the tank is:

Fish:
1 African dwarf frog
2 Giant danios (getting rid of or moving)
1 Betta splendid (may be staying or being moved)
1 Golden dojo loach (Adding 2 more)
1 Japanese trapdoor snail (probably will just add another snail)
1 Yellow Pleco (staying)
1 glassfish (i'll add more if I can find more, but its staying since it was a gift)

Plants:
1 Bacopa monnieri
1 Crinum calamistratum
2 Echinodorus x barthii
2 Microsorum pteropus 'Windelov'

Okay yeah I did all the maths and such.. And there would be no way that I would be able to get all of that -.-

So any suggestions on what to keep/get rid of?

I would remove your betta. I'm worried he may become very stressed in that environment, especially with dojo loaches which are quite hyper/active loach. A betta needs a much slower paced enivronment than that. You could try adding those rainbow fish to go with your giant danios(which are a schooling fish). They will get along fine.
I wouldn't get another pleco and i wouldn't get the pair of rams or the tiger barbs, too many conflicts involved. Getting the tetras and neons would nicely fill out the middle of your tank though.

Sadly I don't want my giant danios, they are the most active fish I have,. and usually scare the daylights out of my glassfish.

I'm not getting a second pleco. I'm staying with the yellow pleco I have right now.

I have a one gallon hex tank, that my betta was in before, I don't like that tank, it gets dirty way to fast like in 2 days... Yeah and at the moment I can't buy him a new tank.

I was really hoping for the rams since I want a really bright center piece fish, and i've seen tiger barbs at fuill colour, but yeah. :D If it won't work i'd rather the fish havve happy live, not stressed out live

Okay so heres the reformatted list:

6-8 Marble hatchets.
6-12 Neon tetras (Or Cardnals)
4 Turqouise (May change my mind) Rainbowfish
6 Black-skirt tetras
2 Apple snails
3 Golden dojo loaches
1 Yellow Pleco

Okay so are the marble hatchet fish okay still? And would I be able to add like any scissor-tail rasboras or another type of tetra?

If you're keeping the betta skip the black skirts as they will likely nip him. Black phantom tetras are a good and attractive alternative.

Another kind of excellent schooling fish you could add are harlequin rasboras. They are unquestionably the best schoolers and would also add color.

Personaly I wouldn't go for the neon tetras but that's just my opinion. I'd go for more rainbowfish instead.

I actualy think you could get a couple of blue rams as a 'centerpiece' but I'd suggest you remove the betta first.

If you do take out the betta, consider a couple of gouramies as a centerpiece instead.

Once you've gotten rid of whatever you are getting rid of, you should be fine with what you have planned but don't add too many of each fish. With the neons, I'd go for around 8 if you want to include all those other fish.

Also, how large do 'yellow' plecos get?

I would get either gold barbs or cherry barbs instead of tigers .

Or as Sylvia suggested , rasboras , very nice looking fish

How big do those rainbow fish get? I'm thinking 4" or more for some reason.

Were you able to unload your giant danios ?

I had rainbows [ bosmani ]and giant danios , they swam together .

Again as in your last thread , I would say move the betta .

Don't glass fish need salt in the water ? They're mentioned in your post , I didn't see them on your list .

I would also get a group of otos and pass on the snails , that's just me though .

Most of your suggestions are on the small side , I would say you're safe as far as stocking goes .

And oh yeh , the pleco, how big will be get ?

Well the betta technically isn't mine so i'll hand it over to my sister and she'll have to figure something out.

I haven't been able to get rid of the giant danios, I think i'll have to buy another tank, since my walmart has this 'company policy' about returning fish.. Go figure :/

Yeah turqousie rainbows have a max size of 4 inches or so.

I think i'll stick with snails, since I already have one, and would only need another. I have had good experence with otos though.

I've had rainbowfish before too, I had a coen river rainbowfish (So pretty) and 2 dwarf neon rainbowfish.

Thanks for the imput guys, I gotta go get my hair cut (Yay! :D) and then i'll reformatt the list agin : ;)

Okay so new list:

6 Marble hatchets.
8 Neon tetras (Or Cardnals)
4 Turqouise (May change my mind) Rainbowfish
6 Black-skirt tetras (Or black phantom tetras)
2 Apple snails
3 Golden dojo loaches
1 Yellow Pleco
2 German rams (?)

Bad or good? Anyways I was at walmart and was comparing the black-skirt tetras and the black phantom tetra's, I like black-skirt tetra's better so I may keep them. I've never had problems with my past black-skirt tetra's and the betta, but all fish have diffrent personalities, so i'll have to see.

So german rams would be okay?

Anything else, if I can't have fit rams in, would there be anything else other than harlequin rasboras?

I think you could manage what you have listed but I still don't know about that pleco...

I would definitely have cardinal tetras over neon tetras anyday. I prefer the look but they're also a more hardy, which helps.

Okay I got pictures from the Pleco I own, had to get him to come out of his cave which took awhile.

Anyways here are the pictures.

Well according to SirMinion it is a lutino common pleco, which is just a colour mutation of the common pleco, and that he will get 1' long :X

Now I have to get rid of him :(
