Hello everyone! It's super good to be back! I've been taking care of my lovely but insane fish and enjoying every second of it, as always
So, I've been saving up and all, and I think I am finally ready to purchase another tank! UULALAAA~ I just redecorated my room and I moved Bibi's place to my bedroom, meaning I have the room to buy another fish tank! A big one! Bibi's place combines with extra room I have over 6 feet of space! wootwoot!
I want to get a new type of fish I've never had before. I'm interested in stingrays, has anyone had one? If not, what other interesting oddballs should I get? Here's my stock list for my current tanks: (profile)
Bichet's Place:
Bichet Jr. just moved in!! he's like 4" and is adorable!! looks just like bichet!! black gravel subtrate with caves and couple of plants. and cute little catfish statue. love it!!
update summer '09: Bichet Jr. is so big now! He's like 10" long and errr I think I fed him too much.. He's FAT!
55 gallons, gravel, rocky and cavey, anubias, and Bibi Jr. the ornate Bichir
Knight's Castle:
150 gallons; sand subtrate; one huge, tall rock "castle" cave in the middle (Knight's Castle) several big and small caves. Decorated with anubias, micro swords in front, and assorted tall plants in the back.
2x Black ghost knife fish, 1x senegal bichir, 1xpeacock eel, 2x SA puffer, 1x raphael catfish, african climbing perch,
Ini-Mini:
29 gallons; sand subtrate, several big and small caves and bogwood, decorated with hairgrass, anubias, swords, and other assorted plants.
10x glass fish, 6x glass catfish
Other than these guys, I've had brown african knifefish, ropefish, and some puffers. My other interests are freshwater flounders and maybe arrowanas? What do you guys think? Or maybe I can buy two medium-sized tanks and distribute some of the guys from Knights, and buy a biggggg fish to go in Knights. Any setup/stocking list ideas would be helpful! Or if you guys have an interesting tank I'd love to hear about your setup and your fish for ideas! and If you have any experience with interesting fish you're more than welcome to share!
Much love!
