my lfs doesnt have any female honey gouramis :/ but i really want gouramis

i was hoping to get 3 and do it one male with 2 females, but if i cant find females would it be better to get one male or 3 males?

i also dont have a great hood over my tank, though i do have little glass covers, and i know that gouramis need to have the air above the water warm and moist so i want to know if this will be a problem

i also have a bit of a current in my tank, i know this will mess with bubble nests, but will that be a problem?

one final question :p theres a different fishstore in my town that has some very small, clearly young gouramis, but they are all the same color (gold honey chuna gouramis). What are the odds that there's a female in the bunch? and would it be a good or bad idea to buy three of them not being sure of their genders? (2 males and one female sounds like a bad idea)

anyway, lots of questions :p so get answering!

usually they do but sometimes not in same tank its a silver gourami the female with a brown line up it

they only have one tank with honeys in it, and they all look like males to me, though im no expert, and the tag says its only males too, but those are often wrong

sometimes theyre in a different tank,.

but some places will only sell males as they are colourfull and the females are just silver so not many people buy them.

Eh? I've never seen any differnce in the colour of male and female gourami's, females are usually rounder, but no difference in colour.
