More Fun With Bettas

yesterday i moved my other Betta Wyatt into a 10 gallon community. I have to say, he loves it there!! and no trouble at all, except he got ahold of a big 'community' flake, after he'd already been fed, and blew up like a balloon!

what sort of tankmates do you have him with?

keep a close eye on him for a while just to make sure there aren't going to be any problems. they can snap. or their fins will be nipped to hell before you know it. i'm sure you know what you are doing tho

example: put some otos in with my betta who seemed mild-tempered. he was chasing them a bit in the evening and gave up. in the morning i woke up to him thrashing one of the poor guys by the tail . Had to separate them immediately. more surprising, he caught an oto

4 cory's and 4 white clouds .. I've been checking on him and mostly he's been stalking, then puts himself in a position and waits for 1 of those guys to move, then he goes up and plays in in his filter(moved it with him from his old tank) I did just see him flare at a Cory... the tanks in my bedroom, I'll hear thrashing I took his tank down to clean it, but I have my quarantine running with the media from his other filter in it's filter, and his other filter as I already mentioned, all I would have to do is throw is change the water and throw the heater in, it's good to go(except it's the floor in the bathroom at the moment) not very esthetic
