Do I need to soak/boil it?

I have found this type of wood to leach very little tanins at all. Far less than bogwood anyway. All I've ever done is give it a really good scrub in warm water. Rinsed off and added to tank. Usually there is a tiny bit of discolouration but it went within a few days.

I soked mine over nite in a bucket of treated water (aquasafe) and it leached a bit its fine in the tank now and sunk first time too
