My moonlight gourami has been bitten about 5 or 6 times on his 'face' by my angels. They suddenly turned on him last night, and bless him he is such a lovely peaceful boy. My only option was to put him in a 12g uk tank with heater, airstone and a filter I'd started to cycle on my main tank. It was only in there 4 days, so isn't properly cycled. I have added stress zyme and melafix to the water. I know this tank isn'tbig enough for him to live in indefinately, but will he be ok for the time being? I plan on doing water changes every day, maybe 15% or so??? He is perky and eating, and seems to be quite content, but he is a 4" fish, so it is too small... any advice??

are the angels in a pair cause if they are they are likeley to attack during mating season thats why people on keep one angel in a community

I have 4. 2 of them were just going at him, it wasn't very aggresive, but obviously he got hurt. :( They are only young, about 1.5" across. He is about 5 times their size LOL.

well the gourami went in there territory or they are mating.what i think

AND HOW BIG IS THIS TANK HE WAS IN WITH THE ANGELS?

i aint shouting at you quit acting like a baby gezzzzzzz i tried to help u fool

He should be fine, just make sure there is plenty of aeration in the tank.
You might have to rehome the angels or gouramis, they tend not to get on as there both fin nippers.

I have a bubble wall in there that he is playing in. I'll probably have to rehome the gourami, I had a feeling I would have to at some point, but I hoped they'd be ok.

Thank you.
