Mom’s new betta

Got my mom a new betta, from a cup of course I’ve never had a crown tail so I don’t know how to know if they have fin rot. The tank is cycled, water parameters look good. He’s eating, he’s feisty, swimming around. Planted tank. I’ve attached a picture
