Molly With Popeye

Hi,

I think one of my mollies has popeye. What's the best course of action. I've never dealt with popeye before.

Will Protozin help? It's the only medication i have to hand and it's hogmany! Aaaaaagggghhhhh!

It has started after she gave birth 2 days ago.

The best treatment would be to treat the tank with some epson salt (make sure it is epson salt) and anti-internal bacterial med like "anti internmal bacteria" by interpet- pop eye can be difficult to cure but thankfully it is not very infectious .

It might also be beneficial to lower the water level in addition to adding the salt. I have found this has helped in the past. Good luck.
