Tank size: 55 gal planted brackish (only about 40g full)
pH: abut 7.4
ammonia: 0
nitrite: 0
nitrate: 5ppm
kH: unknown
gH: unknown
tank temp: 74F/23C
Fish: Pair of dalmatian mollies, three fry. 2 Mudskippers.
My male dalmatian molly has a white/grey cotton ball looking growth attached to his anal fin. He's still alive but very sluggish, and a couple of times already I thought he has dead. All the other fish seem fine. Nothing has been added recently to the tank. I do water changes about once a month (the tank is so sparsely stocked right now). The water is brackish with a SG about .003-4. I'm thinking flexibacter columnaris and I should treat with melafix or something similar. Please help I don't think he has much time. Thanks.
Trying to attach a picture but not sure that it's working. Hopefully you can see this.
