I recently got a gift of an aquarium with 2 catfish, 4 neon tetra and a a hell of a lot of mollies (about 40 to 50).
They appear ot be breeding like wildfire and although i know they are supposed to be a peaceful fish some are slightly agrresive, due to overpopulation in tank.

Now, what can i do besides remove them from the tank, to curb their breeding..i don't want to just get rid of them but would rather give them to a good home for example...

does anyone have any suggestions?

any suggestions on birth control etc would help  or does anyone want them?

Local fish shop/store would be happy to take some of the young ones what size tank is it?

Another solution would be to sell your fry on here or other places like ebay etc alot of people would be interested

didn't think they would take em...cheers for that. im new to all this i.e. a whole 12 hours...tank is 1.3m(L) by .5m(W) by .7m(H) or thereabouts.

i don't want to sell them, i just want rid of them so i can introduce new varieties into the tank. in my new found eagerness today i went and bought some gourami and although they are big guys the existing mollies are going for them..i'm on the wine, its the only way i can cope with this bullying!!
