4 questions but a different reason for each question

1. are black mollies easy to breed?
2. do i need to do anything special to make them breed?
3. how often do they breed?
4. do i need a seperate tank for the fry?

It is ideal to have a seperate tank for fry. Keep it especially for them so no other fish are able to eat them. Thats what i have. I have a 80 litre just for them so they can be raised up to about half an inch and then are tossed into the big tank which is about 800 litres :)

1. Yes
2. No. Just make sure you have 2-3 females per male, and make sure they are going to be okay in your water. I'd suggest you read nmonk's post on that for more information.
3. They breed ALL the time. The females are basically constantly pregnant. If you are asking how long in between fry batches, about 4-6 weeks.
4. It's the best way. It's also good to have somewhere to put the mother, if you want to be sure to get the fry. Mollies are too big for breeding traps/nets.

I suggest you read the pinned topics and FAQs, as they'll help you along too. Good luck! :)
