I spotted some molly fry this afternoon in my tank :good: , i suspect the female dropped at least a day ago because I could only find 3 fry, so i guess a lot must have been eaten. I managed to get one into my breeder net, but the other two are hiding under this peice of wood i have in my tank with a hole under it.
They seem okay at the moment but the other fish seem to know that there is something under there  , i want to get them to the safety of the net, but i cant get them to come out, and i cant move the wood without uprooting a lot of plants.
Is there anything i could tempt them to come out with?
Thanks.

This sounds pretty brutal, but I have solved my problems catching endlers by siphoning them into a bucket, then netting them. As long as

a) There is substantial water in the bucket before you suck the little guys up
b) The hose is big enough an dthere are no kinks or bends for the fryto get caught/injured in.

I only catch my endlers this way (in a big siphon) and I swear, they have no idea what happened!
