Hello there. I have a Black Lyre-tail Molly in seemingly perfect health, but due to his apparent unending appetite I was curious as to what plants I could acquire to let him graze upon. I have a Cabomba bunch and he picks at it somewhat, but I would really like to get something for him that perhaps he would enjoy a bit more. Also, I wonder about the need for a shelter of some type, be it a cave-like structure or an artificial tree root kind of thing. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Most, if not all, mollies have an unending appetite! I have artificial plants in my tank, and my 3 mollies graze upon the algae that grows on them between the meals that I provide them.

Mollies love algae. But trying to gorw it with out over takeing the tank is hard. A good clump live plant is a good place for them to eat and hide.
